Even if the SPEAKER setting is ON, no sound is output from the speaker when recording or in recording standby, or when headphones or a monitoring system is connected.

Connecting monitoring equipment

To monitor with headphones, connect them to the /LINE OUT jack.

To monitor with an external monitoring system (powered monitor speakers or an amplifier and speakers), connect it to the /LINE OUT jack.
