The freezer you have purchased has been carefully
engineered and manufactured to give you dependable
operation. The TaylorModel 337, when properly operated
andcared for, will producea consistent quality product.Like
all mechanicalproducts, this machine will require cleaning
andmaintenance. A minimum amount of care and attention
is necessary if the operating procedures outlinedin this
manualare followed closely.
This Operator’sManual should be read before operating or
performingany maintenance on your equipment.
Your Model 337 will NOT eventually compensate for and
correct any errors during th e set-up or filling operations.
Thus, the initial assemblyand priming procedures are of
extreme importance. It is strongly recommended that all
personnel responsible forthe equipment’s operation study
theseprocedurestogether in order to be properly trainedand
tomake sure that no misunderstandings exist.
Ifyou require technicalassistance, please contact your local
authorizedTaylor Distributor.
Ifthe crossed out wheeled bin symbol is affixed to
thisproduct, it signifiesthat this product is compliant with the
EUDirective as well as other similarlegislation in effect after
August13, 2005. Therefore, it must be collected separately
after its use is completed, and cannot be disposed as
unsortedmunicipal waste.
The user is responsible for returningthe product to the
appropriatecollectionfacility,as s pecified by you r local code.

COMPRESSOR WARRANTY

DISCLAIMER

The refrigeration compressor(s) on this machine are
warranted for the term indicated on the warranty card
accompanyingthis machine. However, due to the Montreal
Protocoland the U.S. Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990,
manynew refrigerants are being testedand developed,thus
seeking theirway into the service industry. Some of these
new refrigerants are being advertised as drop-in
replacementsfor numerous applications. Itshould be noted
that, in the event of ordinary service to this machine’s
refrigerationsystem, only the refrigerantspecified on the
affixeddata label should be used. The unauthorized use
ofalternate refrigerants will voidyour compressorwarranty.
Itwill be the owner’sresponsibility to ma ke this fact known to
anytechnician he employs.
It should also be noted that Taylor does not warrant the
refrigerant used in its equipment. For example, if the
refrigerantis lostduring the course of ordinary serviceto this
machine,Taylorhas no obligation to either supply orprovide
its replacementeither at billable or unbillable terms. Taylor
does have the obligation to recommend a suitable
replacementif the original refrigerant is banned, obsoleted,
or no longer available during thefive year warranty of the
compressor.
TheTaylorCompany willcontinue to monitor the industryand
testnew alternatesas they are being developed. Should a
new alternate prove, through our testing,that it would be
accepted as a drop-in replacement, then the above
disclaimer would become null and void. To find out the
currentstatus of an alternate refrigerant as it relatesto your
compressorwarranty, call the local TaylorDistributor or the
Taylor Factory.Be prepared to provide the Model/Serial
Numberof the unit in question.
