Battery Information

The thermometer operates on 2 AAA batteries (included). Change the battery when the display becomes dim or when LCD shows "bLo", this give the indication of low battery. To install the batteries:

1.Open the battery compartment door.

2.Insert the batteries as indicated by the polarity symbols (+ and -) marked on the inside of the battery compartment.

3.Replace battery compartment door.

General Operation

1.Sterilize the metal probe by inserting it into an appropriate solution such as boiling water for several minutes.

2.The unit will turn on automatically when the probe is unfolded.

3.To switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius temperature scales, press the “°F/°C t” button.
