Press this button to open the top cover.

An electrical locking mechanism is used in this drive so that an erroneous operation does not open the top cover during write. Make sure that the power is on and the drive is not in operation before pressing the eject button to open the top cover.

If the top cover cannot be opened even when the eject button is pressed or if the top cover needs to be opened when power is not supplied from the AC adapter, use the emergency eject lever at the bottom of the drive.

Check that nothing is placed on the top cover when ejecting. When normal ejection is im- possible, an error message may appear on your computer.

When ejection is not performed normally, open the top cover manually and close it securely after removing anything that may be on the cover.

Connect this jack to the line input signal of your computer using a ø 3.5mm stereo mini plug when outputting the analog audio signal from this drive.

This can be used as an input signal for speakers with a built-in amplifier.

Y￿Emergency eject lever When ejecting the media with the power off, insert a thin metal rod into the emergency eject lever and slide it in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure to open the top cover.

TUse the eject button instead of the above method except in an emergency.

TPerform this operation with the power off.
