TROUBLE SHOOTING
Before you call for service, determine the sympt oms and make a few simple checks as shown below .

TV set:

signs or other potential sources of interference.
Degraded colors or tints z Check whether all image adjustments have been properly adjusted.
Improper screen position or size z Check whether screen position and size have been properl

The image appears distorted z Ensure the TV's aspect ratio is properly set.
The image is purple z Check the "Component" or "RGB" set

The image appears too bright, and
there is a loss of definition in the

z Check whether the contrast setting is too high.
z The DVD player is set for a high-level output.

Remote Control does not function

z Check for incorrect battery orientation.
z Check for dead batteries
z Check for distance and angle from the display.
z Check whether remote control is properl

z Check that the remote sensor window is not under strong
fluorescent lighting.
