Connections and initial set up

The rear panel of your television set and your video player may be different from the ones illustrated here.

Connecting: DVD player + TV set

Recommended Audio – Video connection

Connect a Scart-Peritel cable (not supplied) to the TV AUDIO VIDEO OUT (RGB) output socket at the rear of your DVD player and to the AV1 input socket of your television set (sometimes called AUX 1 or EXT 1).

Other Audio - Video connections

If there is no Scart-Peritel connector available on the television set, check whether there is another Composite video to connect your player to by using the corresponding connector (see page 4). In this case do not forget to also connect the Audio out socket (AUDIO OUT) to the Audio in socket (AUDIO IN) on your TV set.
