SGETTING STARTED
•Place the appliance on a flat, stable, heat resistant surface away from water splashes and any sources of heat.
1 – Put the appliance into the mains.
2 After having removed the lid B, remove and fill the tank A with cold water (fig. 1a and b).
3Put the tank back in place by pressingfirmly and repositionthe lid B (fig. 2).
4 Place the desired container under the nozzle E (fig. 8).
5 Press “continuous water supply” button H and you will instantly obtain hot water (fig. 3).
Keep it held down until you get the amount of hot water you want. Hot water will stop running as soon as you release the button.

7 Models equipped with a quantity selector offer an additional function: you can adjust the amount of water automatically delivered to your container. To do this, select the chosen amount on the selector I, then press the auto- matic mug button G; the water flow will stop automatically (fig. 9).

Return your appliance to your authorised Service Centre. See the warranty conditions and the list of centres in the handbook provided with your appliance.
The type and series number are shown on the base of your model.
Do not use the appliance. No attempt must be made to disassemble the appliance or safety devices.
DESCALING your appliance
In order to optimise the lifetime of your appliance, we recommend that you descale it at least every 2 months. Descaling should be carried out more frequently if you live in a very hard water area.
To
1 Remove the Claris filter cartridge (fig. 6).
2 Place a container with at least 1.5 litre under the spout.
3Empty the tank A if it is is still full of water, then reposition it on its base (fig. 2).
4 Pour 1 litre of commercially available white vinegar at 8° into the tank.
5 Press the continuous water supply button H and the mug
6 The descaling cycle thus run automatically for approximately 10 minutes
7 When the cycle has come to an end, empty the container and refill the water tank to a maximum. Press the “continuous water supply” button H to relaunch a new operation for rinsing the appliance (fig. 3).
8 Once the last cycle has finished, reposition the Claris cartridge and your appliance will again be ready
