To charge both TekCharge MP1860A and the connected device, slide the power switch to ON. TekCharge MP1860A will be charged first, and will in turn charge the connected device(s). This connection will work only for devices that charge slower than the input power (1A). If the connected device draws more power than the input power, TekCharge MP1860A will be depleted at some point.
5.When the battery is fully charged, unplug the input/output cord from both TekCharge MP1860A and the computer or power adapter.
Viewing the Power Capacity
Charging
When TekCharge MP1860A is being charged, the capacity indicator lamp will light to indicate the amount of power in the battery:
Orange: 0% - 80% capacity
Blue: 80% - 100% capacity
Discharging
When TekCharge MP1860A is connected to and charging a device, or when the power switch is ON and TekCharge MP1860A is not connected to a device, the capacity indicator lamp will be constantly lit to indicate the amount of power remaining in the battery:
Blue: 20% - 100% capacity
Orange: 0% - 20% capacity
