Thermal Conductivity Analyzer Part I: Control Unit
Part I 4-29
Teledyne Analytical Instruments
2. Use LEFT/RIGHT key to move to the range that is speci-
fied as inverting output.
3. Press and hold DOWN key for approximately 5 to 7 seconds.
4. Press ENTER key.
NOTE: If the inverting has been setup, ā€œiā€ shall display on the left
bottom corner. Otherwise, the left bottom corner display ā€nā€.
If more that one range is specified an inverting output, repeat steps 1
to 4.
4.9.3 Special - Polarity Coding
NOTE: This setup will be identified only when performing
GAS TEST
or calculation. Formula 1 will determine which range(s)
willrequired polarity coding.
If the analyzer indicates a negative concentration with proper span gas or
formula 1 indicates a negative value, set the S1 accordingly to the table below:
Close S1-5 range 1
Close S1-6 range 2
Close S1-7 range 3
Close S1-8 cal range
Press I/O to restart the system.
4.9.4 Special - Nonlinear Application Gain Preset
NOTE: This section apply during
GAS TEST
routine for the unit that
has more than one range install with nonlinear output applica-
tion.
The steps are as follows:
1. Set unit range to lowest range reading.
2. Using the computer generated settings for the controller,
adjust the controller settings for the maximum span gas
output.
3. Press SPAN key. Select AUTO mode and setup the setting
to span level. Press ENTER key to span.
4. Set range switch to next range.
5. Press SPAN key.
