Out Of The Box
You should save the carton and the inserts your speakers came in. You may need to store or ship your TSC speakers in the future and the packaging is designed to protect them from damage.
Where Should You Put Them?
Subwoofer: The MS21.2 subwoofer can go almost anywhere around your computer/multimedia source. The only limitation is the length of the cable that connects the remote controller to the subwoofer.
Satellite Speakers: These can be placed in any convenient location. The only limitation is the length of the wire that connects them to the subwoofer module. For computer use, they should be placed to flank your video monitor.
Connecting And Using Your tSc MS21.2 Multimedia Speaker System
•Connect the satellite speakers to the appropriate speaker outputs on the rear of the subwoofer module.
o Find the red (positive or “+”) and black (negative or
o Insert the Left speaker wire’s positive conductor (usually blue or white) into the recess of the Left channel’s red terminal by pressing the red tab down, inserting the wire, and then releasing the tab.
o Insert the Left speaker wire’s negative conductor (usually black) into the recess of the Left channel’s black terminal by pressing the black tab down, inserting the wire, and then releasing the tab.
o Repeat these steps for the Right channel. Remember to use the Right channel terminals and the speaker wire from the Right satellite.
•Connect the remote controller by inserting its cable into the round
•Connect a source (computer, portable media player, etc.) to the remote controller’s Audio In 3.5 mm stereo plug.
•Plug the AC cord from the subwoofer module’s rear panel into a 110v wall plug.
•Turn your source and the tSc MS21.2 speaker system on.
oNote that there are two AC switches.
