A low whistling

Induction heating technology is based on the creation of electromagnetic fields t cause heat to be created directly on the pan base. Depending on the constru of the cookware, certain noises or vibrations may be created, such as the follo

This occurs when cooking at a high power. The cause of this is the amount energy which is transmitted from the appliance to the cookware. This sound disappears or becomes quieter when the power is turned down.

This occurs when the cookware is empty. This sound disappears when water o food is added to the cookware.

This noise occurs when cookware is used which consists of layers of different materials. The noise is caused by vibrations in the joint faces between the diff layers. This noise comes from the cookware. It may change depending on the amount and type of food being cooked.

High

pitched whistle

This

noise occurs principally in cookware which

of layers of

materials when used at the highest heat setting

Fan

noise

The

electronics require a controlled temperature

in order

to function

reliably. The

cooktop is therefore fitted with a fan which runs at various speeds according t

temperature detected. The fan may also continue to run

even

after

the

cooktop

been

switched off if the temperature it detects

is still

too high.

The

sounds described are a normal part of induction

technology and do not in

a defect.
