2.The light will remain off for 4 seconds giving you time to locate the pulse. After the four second interval, the INDIGLO night-light will blink again indicating that your count should begin.

3.The INDIGLO night-light will blink in 15 second intervals at 15, 30, 45 and 60 seconds after the initial count signal light. This enables you to time a pulse for 15, 30, 45 or 60 seconds depending on your preference. Continue counting until you reach the desired 15-second interval.

4.Multiply your count by the appropriate factor to determine a one minute pulse. (For example, a 15-second count should be multiplied by 4 to determine the pulse rate for one minute.)

5.The timing procedure can be canceled at any time during the counting period by pressing the pulse timing button.

6.To begin timing again, follow step 1 above.

Note: When ready to use the Pulse timing feature, there is no need to wait until the second hand reaches any particular minute, since the light will indicate your timing period.

Additional Note: During pulse timing, the regular INDIGLO night-light can be used without interrupting the Pulse timing feature by pressing the Timekeeping Crown.

NOTES:

1.The watch is water-resistant only as long as crystal, crown and case remain intact.

2.Timex strongly recommends rinsing your watch with fresh water after exposure to salt water.

SECTION 4 – HOW TO START YOUR WATCH

To start your watch, remove the plastic guard from under the TIMEKEEPING CROWN then push the crown in as far as it will go against the case. The second hand should now advance at one-second intervals.

SECTION 5 – HOW TO SET THE TIME

If your watch has a date, set it first before setting the time (see Section 6).

Timex watches either have a two-position or three-position timekeeping crown as illustrated below.

However, while viewing the lighted dial using the regular INDIGLO night-light feature, the light will not blink at the next 15-second interval and you may lose your count.

SECTION 3 – WATER-RESISTANCE

If your watch is water-resistant, it will be indicated ( ) on the watch face or on the caseback.
