4Configuración de la red inalámbrica

4.1WPS

El Skyr@cer WBR 7201n permite la opción WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup, configuración Wi-Fi protegida).

La opción WPS permite enviar automáticamente la configuración del cifrado inalámbrico desde el router a un cliente inalámbrico con función WPS (por ejemplo, el Skyr@cer USB 4201n).

Por lo tanto, no es necesario introducir la configuración del cifrado en el adaptador inalámbrico con función WPS si desea conectarlo al router. Solo tiene que pulsar el botón «WPS» del router y luego pulsar el botón «WPS» del adaptador inalámbrico y la conexión protegida se establecerá al cabo de unos segundos.

Si no configura el cifrado inalámbrico del router, la función WPS creará automáticamente un cifrado muy sofisticado (WPA-PSK).

Si desea utilizar un adaptador de cliente inalámbrico sin opción WPS, es recomendable configurar el cifrado inalámbrico manualmente.

Para configurar la función WPS automáticamente, no hace falta que lleve a cabo los siguientes pasos (4.2 y 4.3).
