Detaching the battery pack
1Turn the player off.
2Disconnect the AC adapter and the power cord from the player.
3Slide the battery pack’s lock switch in the open direction, then slide the player in the direction of the arrow to remove it.

4 Close the connector cover on rear of the player.
Note
Do not detach the battery pack while you are operating the player (while the POWER/CHG indicator illuminates in green).
About battery pack life
Battery pack has a duration life. When the playback time become short remarkably even if the battery pack is fully charged, change to a new battery pack.
