The following entries are displayed on this screen:

 Loopback Type

Internal: Select Internal to test whether the port is available.

External: Select External to test whether the device connected to the port

of the switch is available

 Loopback Port

Loopback Port: Select the desired port for loopback test.

Test: Click the Test button to start the loopback test for the port.

 Loopback Result

Here you can view the loop back result.

15.4 Network Diagnostics

This switch provides Ping test and Tracert test functions for network diagnostics.

Ping test function, testing the connectivity between the switch and one node of the network,

facilitates you to test the network connectivity and reachability of the host so as to locate the

network malfunctions.

Choose the menu Maintenance→Network Diagnostics→Ping to load the following page.
