AEnergy-Saving Outlets

All outlets provide surge and noise protection. Battery backup outlets support connected equipment during power failures—connect critical components such as your computer and monitor to these outlets. ECO outlets work with the ECO energy saver feature—connect nonessential, intermittent-use peripherals (such as printers, scanners, speakers and external drives) to these outlets. The UPS system will save energy by automatically turning off the ECO outlets when it detects that your computer is turned off or in standby mode. (USB connection required; outlets function as standard surge/noise protected outlets when the ECO energy saver feature is disabled.) All outlets deliver superior power efficiency that reduces your electric bill, energy consumption and carbon emissions around the clock.

BECO Status LED

Green LED illuminates when the ECO energy-saving feature is enabled and flashes when the UPS system automatically turns off the ECO outlets.

CECO Control Switch

Enables/disables the ECO energy-saving feature.

DON/OFF/TEST Button

Provides convenient power control, load testing and battery testing.

EUPS Status LEDs

Green ON/OFF LED illuminates when outlets are powered. Red OVERLOAD/CHECK BATTERY LED illuminates if the UPS system is overloaded and flashes if the battery needs recharging or replacement.

FTel/Modem Surge Protection

Blocks surges on a single phone, fax, dial-up or DSL line. Phone cable included.

GTransformer Outlets

Accommodate several large transformers (power bricks) without blocking adjacent outlets.

GHI

HPower Cord with Right-Angle Plug

6-foot cord with right-angle plug reaches distant outlets and allows flush placement of furniture.

IUSB Port (HID Compliant)

Connects to your computer’s USB port for safe and automatic shutdown during power failures. Use with PowerAlert software (free download) or the built-in power management utilities of your computer’s operating system. USB cable included.
