Installation

Installation

Note: Make sure that all devices you are connecting are powered off prior to installation.

1 Connect the video source to the VGA input port on the unit. Note: A Component (RGB) Video to VGA Adapter cable is required for connection of a Component source.

2Connect the audio source to the Red/White RCA input ports on the unit.

3If connecting a computer, turn the HDCP switch on the unit off. If connecting a DVD player, turn the HDCP switch on.

4Connect the HDMI display to the HDMI output port on the unit.

5Connect the power supply to the unit, and then plug it into an appropriate power source, such as a Tripp Lite Surge Suppressor, Power Distribution Unit (PDU), or Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).

6Power on the connected source and monitor. The LED next to the VGA input port will illuminate Blue to indicate that it is connected to a powered on source. The LED next to the HDMI output port will illuminate to indicate that it is connected to a powered on monitor.

The output port LED illuminates Red when the HDCP switch is on, and Blue when the HDCP switch is off.
