If a proper ground is detected, the green LED illuminates and AC power is routed to the output receptacles. 2) Connect AC Equipment to Your Power Strip
Plug the AC power cords of your equipment into your power strip. Do not use extension cords or adapters that eliminate the connection to ground. DO NOT OVERLOAD your power strip. Each outlet can handle a load of up to the model’s amp rating, but do not exceed a total load of more than the model’s amp rating for all outlets. If the circuit breaker trips, outlets will cease to provide power. Reduce the load on the power strip down to your unit’s amp rating by unplugging excess equipment, then depress the circuit breaker button to reset and restore power.
