Condenser Cleaning – Every Three Months

Disconnect electric power to the unit before cleaning the condenser or the solenoid valve.

Keep the front grille free of dust and lint to allow air to flow to the condenser (Figure 43). Clean the condenser coil, located behind the front grille. Use a brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dirt, lint and other accumulations from the condenser coil.
To remove and replace the grille for access to the condenser fins follow this procedure:

1.With a standard blade screwdriver (or 1/4” nutdriver), remove the grille screw (Figure 44).
2.Remove the control knob by pulling it toward you.
3.Remove the grille.
