Delete All
To delete images from either the camera's internal memory or from the SmartMedia™ Card, select Delete All from the Setup menu.
Format
This option completely erases and reformats of the storage device. It is similar in function to formatting or defragmenting a PC hard drive. Although Format takes longer than Delete, be sure to format your storage device occasionally to ensure the card continues to function optimally.
