You can operate your answering system from a remote location using any touch-
tone telephone. Use this function to check for recorded messages, to play or
delete messages, to record a new outgoing message, and to monitor sounds in
the room.
11Call your telephone number.
22While the greeting message is played, press #and y our PIN code within
2 seconds.
If the answering system is off, let it ring 10 times. The tone sounds. Then,
press #and your PIN code within 2 seconds.
33The answering system announces the time and day and t he number of
messages stored in memory. Then the message playback aut omatically begins.
44You may continue to listen to your message, or you may select a command
from the following chart.
55After all of your messages have played, or the playbac k time exceeds 4
minutes, you will hear intermittent beeps indicating that t he system is in the
command waiting mode. You may enter another command at this time from
the chart above.
• During the remote
operation, displays
on the base.
• You must enter a
command within 15
seconds of entering
command waiting mode.
Otherwise the answering
system automatically
hangs up and returns to
standby.
• The system will only
playback messages for
four minutes and then it
returns to command
waiting mode. To
continue playing your
message, press #then
