TO OPERATE IN DUPLEX MODE
Duplex mode is only available from CH01 – CH08. Duplex mode is activated on a per channel basis and transmitting frequency on Duplex channels is CH31 – CH38. E.g., If the Repeater channel for your area is CH01, then while in Duplex mode the Transmit channel will become CH31
with the Receive channel being CH01.
Press dup momentarily. The 'DUP' icon appears.
Press dup again to deactivate the duplex operation. UH041/UHO41P will return to
normal operation.
Note: If dup is pressed when the channel is not from CH01 - CH08, an error tone sounds.
SCANNING
DUP
The scan function scans all channels and stops at an active channel. When the signal stops, the UH041/UHO41P waits 2 seconds (Reply Delay) before scanning resumes.
To initiate scanning,
1.Assuming the unit is on CH01 when switched on.
