OPERATION

￿See the Controls & Indicators pages 4 and 5 for button and key operations.

￿When you press any key (except PTT), a short tone sounds.

POWER ON/OFF

To turn the unit

ON, rotate the [ON/OFF VOLUME] clockwise until a “click” is heard. A channel number and battery level should appear on the display.

To turn the unit OFF, rotate the [ON/OFF VOLUME] knob counter-clockwise until a “click” is heard. The display will disappear.

VOLUME

Turn the [ON/OFF VOLUME] control clockwise to increase the volume, counter-clockwise to decrease the volume.
