Slidethe belt clip until it snaps into place.
Toremove the belt clip, press and hold
beltclip locker, slide the belt clip at the
sametime until released.

iconon the display begins flashing. When the batteries
inthe unit are low, the unit will go into a battery Low
mode.The Transmit mode is disabled. Replace the
alkalinebatteries immediately or if you are using the
NiMHbattery pack, place the radio on the charge
cradleto recharge. Full charge will take up to 16 Hrs.
Theuh064sx has an automatic display back light which remains on for 10
secondsafter a key press (all keys except PTT key). Theback light will work
evenif the keypad is locked but will not work during low battery alert mode.
