SELECTING A CHANNEL
1. Press keymomentarily to activate channel select
mode.The displayed channel will flash.
2. Press or keyto select the desired channel.
3. Press keymomentarily to exit channel select mode. If no key is
pressedwithin 5 sec the uh064sx will exit from the channel select mode.
Theuh064sx uses the 40 UHF-CB Channels (
).
1. Beforeyou transmit, listen for activity on the selected channel.
2. Whenthe channel is clear, press and hold the PTT key to transmit.
iconappears on the display.
3. Whenyou have finished speaking, release the PTT and listen for a response.
iconthen disappears on the display. While receiving, the iconis
displayed.

22and 23 are for telemetry and telecommand

aclear, normal conversational voice.

displayfor minimum transmit level. Whenthere is no 'HI' or 'LO' icon then
themiddle transmit level is set. With quality alkaline batteries the transmit
powerof the uh064sx is 2.0W (Hi), 0.5W (Mid) and 0.1W (Lo).
