It uses a powerful, proven-technology, rechargeable, non-spillable, sealed, lead acid battery for years of dependable use. It was designed to be the most versatile and practical light for travel, camping, picnicking, tailgate parties and boating. Extremely rugged construction protects the unit from most vibration and shock damage.
