CAUTIONS

The unit can take up to 2 hours to reach its optimum set temperature if the set temperature is an operating extreme (approx. 40 °F to warm temperature 120 °F). It is recommended that items to be placed in the unit are at the correct temperature. This will assist the unit in reaching the desired temperature as quickly as possible

The unit will continue to operate as long as power is applied to it and it is turned ON.

If the vehicle engine is turned off, the unit will continue to draw power (a nominal 3.6-amps or 44 watts) from the vehicle battery.

If the engine is switched off for a long period (overnight) it is important to disconnect the unit from the accessory outlet to avoid draining the vehicle’s battery.

WARNINGS

Food will stay at desired temperature for some time after the unit is disconnected or turned off, but the temperature will eventually change to that of the surrounding air.

Observe common sense hygiene rules, as with any cooling/heating unit. Do not eat or drink perishable items that may have spoiled or become contaminated from lack of proper temperature control.

CAUTIONS

The unit is intended to maintain the temperature of pre-cooled or pre-heated food and beverages; it is not designed to warm cold items or to heat cold items.
