3G Network (GSM/WCDMA)
The 3G Network (GSM/WCDMA) section has the following:
•Status — Status of the network (Disabled, Not available, or Available).
•Technology — The type of technology used to connect to the Internet.
•Network Operator — The vendor that currently provides wireless access.
•RSSI — Indicates the signal strength for the GSM/WCDMA signal.
•Cell ID — Identies the cell tower currently used.
•Band Preference — A modem setting which determines the network technology used when
multiple technologies are available.
Buttons
•Field Test — Click this button to run the Field Test. The Field Test will provide a large quantity
of diagnostic information, which will be displayed in a new window.
