II. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

SETTING DATE AND TIME

Setting the time:

1.Pull the crown out to position 3.

2.Turn to the desired time.

3.Push the crown back to position 1. (Remember to screw it back down if you have a screw-down model)

Adjusting the date and day:

1.Pull the crown out to position 2.

2.Turn it away from you for the desired date.

3.Turn it towards you for the desired day.

4.Push the crown back to position 1.

MANUAL OR AUTOMATIC WINDING

Crown in position 1 (unscrewed)

You must wind any simple mechanical timepiece daily and at a regular time in order to ensure smooth running of your timepiece. All you have to do is turn the crown away from you until you feel a slight resistance (to avoid damaging the mechanism, do not overwind).

For timepieces fitted with an automatic winding function: the timepiece winds itself auto- matically as you move your wrist. If your timepiece stops or is not worn sufficiently, per- form the same operation as for a manual timepiece (a few turns of the crown will suffice).

III. OTHER FUNCTIONS

CHRONOGRAPH

Chronograph function:

To avoid any errors, do not perform this operation between 21.00 and 03.00 in the morning when the date mechanism operates. Be careful not to confuse midday and midnight.

1.	Press start/stop pusher A to start the timing
	function.	A
2.	Press the same pusher A to stop the timing
	function.
3.	To calculate additional time, press pusher A
	again.	1 2 3
4.	To return the three chronograph hands to	B
	zero, use pusher B.
