Camera tampering detection

This section explains how to set up camera tempering detection. With the tampering detection, it is capable of detecting incidents such as shooting redirection, blocking or defocusing of cameras, or even spray-painted.

Please follow the steps below to set up camera tampering detection function:

1.Check Enable camera tampering detection.

2.Enter the tampering trigger duration. (10 sec. ~ 10 min.) A tampering detection will be alarmed only when the tampering factor (the difference between current frame and pre-saved background) is exceeded the triggered base over tampering triggered duration.

3.Set up the event source as camera tampering detection on Application page > Event Settings /

Server Settings (how to send alarm message) / Media Settings (send what kind of alarm message). Please refer to page 67 for detailed information.
