The handset may be out of range. Move it closer to the tel ephone base.
Make sure the power cord is securely plugged into the telephone base. Use a working electrical
outlet that is not controlled by a wall switch.
Reset your telephone by unplugging the power adapt er from the telephone base. Disconne ct
the battery from the cordless handset. Wait for 15 seconds, then plug in the power adapter
and re-install the battery. Place the handset in the telephone base and allow up to one minute
for the handset and telephone base to synchr onize.
Other electronic products may prevent your handset and telephone base from communicating
with each other. Try installing your telephone base as far away from these electronic devices as
possible: wireless routers, radios, radio tower s, pager towers, cellular telephones, interc oms,
room mo nitors, television s, per sonal computers, kitch en app liances and other c ordless
telephones.
