S Insert the ends of the lines through exit holes in the sides of the trimmer head.
SPlace the spool in the trimmer head.
SMake sure the lines are not caught between the rim of the spool and the wall of the trim- mer head.
S Reinstall the tap button and lock ring onto the trimmer head.
SAlign the lock ring over the catches on the trimmer head. Push the ring down and turn until the catches lock into place.

SMake sure the lock ring is securely fastened by pulling on it and twisting in both direc- tions.
WARNING: All catches must be fas- tened and the lock tab latched in the lock ring. If installed incorrectly, the lock ring can fly off
and become a dangerous missile.
SPull line extending from trimmer head.
We recommend all service and adjustments not listed in this manual be performed by an Authorized Service Dealer.
CARBURETOR ADJUSTMENT
Your carburetor is equipped with limiter caps. Damage will occur if you turn the needles be- yond the limiter caps. Carburetor adjustment is a complicated task. We recommend that you take your unit to an Authorized Service Dealer.
