PRECAUTIONS FOR USE AROUND CHILDREN
•Close supervision is always necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
•Do not allow children to operate or be near the Blender, as the mechanical operation can cause a hazard.
•Do not allow cord to hang over any edge where a child can reach it. Arrange cord to avoid pulling, tripping or entanglement.
MIXING JAR PRECAUTIONS
•The mixing jar is designed for use with this appliance only. Do not use the mixing jar provided with this appliance for any other appliance or application.
•Do not place mixing jar on hot surface or in a heated oven.
•Use caution when cleaning mixing jar with blades assembled. Wipe exterior with damp cloth, and only rinse interior. If necessary to clean inside of mixing jar, disassemble and clean following the instructions in the assembly and cleaning sections of this manual.
•Do not use a cracked mixing jar or a mixing jar having a loose or weakened cutting blade retainer.
•Do not clean mixing jar with cleansers, steel wool pads, or other abrasive materials.
