Using Your Blender

1.Place appliance on dry, level, heat-resistant surface, away from any edge. NOTE: Do not operate blender where dust or flour can be sucked up into the vent openings, as this will cause damage to the blender.

2.Plug cord into a 120 volt AC electric outlet only.

3.Put liquids into the blender first unless recipes call for an alternate processing sequence.

4.Prepare ingredients for blending. Cut all solid ingredients, i.e. fruits, vegetables, or cheeses or meats into uniform pieces, ½ to 1-inch cubes. Place cover on blender. NOTE: Always place one hand on jar or jar cover to steady blender wihile operating.

5.Blend foods according to the recipe or until the desired results are achieved. NOTE: If scraping or stirring of contents is required, turn blender to the “off” position and unplug from electrical outlet. Use only a flexible spatula so scratching of glass does not occur.

A small amount of odor may occur during operation due to the release of manufacturing oils – this is normal.
