.Place the pitcher on the drip tray with the pour spout facing the back of the Iced Tea Maker body. The handle should be facing the front of the machine, centered under the adjustable steeping control knob.

.Plug cord into a 120 volt AC electric outlet only. Press the power button. The button will light up indicating the power is “ON”.

.When the brewing cycle is complete, the Iced Tea Maker will automatically shut off. This takes approximately 10 minutes. Wait a few minutes for all the water to flow into the pitcher until the water stops dripping. Note: When using sugar, it may take longer for all the tea to dispense.

.Remove the pitcher and serve. Note: If making sweet tea, gently stir the iced tea in the pitcher to thoroughly mix the contents prior to serving.

.After the appliance has cooled, open the water reservoir lid and remove the filter, brew basket, and sweetener chamber. Discard the used leaves or bags and rinse thoroughly in warm water.

.To clean, follow the cleaning instructions in this manual.

Note: If the appliance has been turned on accidentally, or turned on without water, the “ON” switch will automatically reset itself when the preset, internal temperature has been reached.
