INSTRUCTIONS

To assemble, place your first rod in one of the eight- (8) holes on the ring and then position the opposite rod directly across from the first one. Continue alternating until you have placed six (6) of the rods in the ring. The last two (2) will be easier to slide in the ring if you gently push down on the middle of the rod causing it to bow inward, allowing the tip to pop into the hole in the ring. To disassemble gently push down on the ring with one hand and the rod with the other and pop the rod out of the hole on the ring. Continue to do this in the same alternating method that you did to set it up.

GRIP HEAD ADAPTERS

To mount the #2300 – place the silver block between one of the cross members of the adapter ring, lining up the screw holes in the silver blocks. Insert the two- (2) screws in the holes in the blocks. Insert the brass stud(s) into the bottom of the silver block and you are ready to mount to your adapter into your tilter bracket and then onto your stand.

***All lights over 1000 watts are recommended to use a two-stand setup.***

Both models come equipped with a lightweight and durable aluminum frame, making them easy to set up and transport. The softboxes are designed to maximize efficiency and productivity during shoots, with a straightforward assembly process that allows users to get started quickly.

One of the key characteristics of these softboxes is their design. The Westcott 3662 is a larger softbox, measuring 36 inches, making it suitable for a range of applications, from portrait photography to product shots. The larger surface area provides an even and soft light, minimizing harsh shadows and creating a flattering illumination on subjects. On the other hand, the Westcott 3661 measures 24 inches, offering versatility for smaller setups or when portability is essential.

Both the 3662 and 3661 feature reflective interiors that enhance light output while maintaining color accuracy. The silver lining inside the softbox increases the amount of light projected onto the subject, allowing photographers to work effectively with lower power settings. This feature is particularly advantageous for those using continuous lighting or flash units, as it helps to maximize the efficiency of the equipment.

The ease of use extends to the softbox's compatibility with various light sources. Designed to work well with both studio strobes and continuous lights, the Westcott 3662 and 3661 can accommodate numerous setups, making them versatile tools for any photographer. Their universal speedring design enables quick attachment to most light stands, further enhancing their practicality in dynamic shooting environments.
