Normal operating sounds
When your air conditioner operates nor- mally, you will hear sounds such as:
l PINGING or CLICKING as water droplets hit the condenser. Water droplets help cool the condenser.
l AIR MOVEMENT from the fan, especially on QUICK COMFORT setting.
l CLICKS from the cooling cycle.
Sounds may also be caused by house construction - such as vibration of the unit due to wall construction or an unsteady window mounting area.
