Solution...

•Loads should move freely during

wash. Wash smaller loads.

•Do not wrap items around agitator.

•Add powder or liquid color-safe bleach

directly to the basket. Do not use

chlorine bleach dispenser for color-

safe bleach.

•Always measure bleach before adding

to the dispenser. Carefully pour into

the dispenser. Wipe up bleach spills.

•Sort dark clothes from whites and

lights.

•If safe for fabric, use 100°F (38°C)

wash water.

•Use more detergent for washing

heavy soils in cold or hard water.

•Use more detergent when washing

in hard water.

Cause...

•Overloading.

•Clothes wrapped around agitator.

•Use of color-safe bleach in chlorine

bleach dispenser.

•Improper use of chlorine bleach.

•Dye transfer.

•Wash temperature too low.

•Not enough detergent.

•Hard water.
