4.If ports are clogged, clean with a straight pin. Do not enlarge or distort port. Do not use a wooden toothpick. If adjustment Is needed, call a qualified technician for service.
5.After cleaning the gas tube opening and ports, replace the burner cap.
6.Turn on the burner to determine if it will light. If the burner does not light after cleaning, contact an authorized Whirlpool service technician. Do not service the sealed burner yourself.

HOW TO CLEAN
lTurn knobs to OFF and pull straight away from control panel.
lWash, rinse, and dry thoroughly. Do not soak.
lDo not use steel wool or abraslve cleansers. They may damage the flnish of the knobs.
lReplace knobs. Make sure all knobs point to OFF.
lWash, wipe with clean water, and dry thoroughly.
lBe sure to wring excess water from sponge before wiping around controls. Excess water in or around controls may cause damage to the cooktop.
lDo not use steel wool or abraslve cleansers. They may damage the finish.
lDo not spray cleaner directly on panel. Apply cleaner to paper towel.
lWash, wipe with clean water, and dry thoroughly.
lUse nonabrasive, plastic scrubbing pad on heavily soiled areas.
l Do not use abraslve or harsh cleansers. They may damage the flnlsh.
NOTE: Do not allow foods containing acids (such as vinegar, tomato, or lemon juice) to remain on surface. Acids may remove the glossy finish. Also wipe up milk or egg spills when cooktop is cool.
