Oven door glass
Oven cavity
l Food spills containing
sugar and/or milk
l All other spills
l Soap and water l Wash, rinse and dry with soft
l Non-abrasive plastic scrubbing pad cloth.
l Spray glass cleaner l Wipe with paper towel.
l Soap and water l When oven cools, wash, rinse
and dry with soft cloth. See
the “Using the self-cleaning
cycle” section.
l Self-cleaning cycle l See the “Using the self-cleaning
cycle” section.
Oven racks l Soap and water
l Steel wool pad
l Self-cleaning cycle
l Wash, rinse and dry.
l Place on 2nd and 4th rack
guides. Racks will discolor and
become harder to slide. After
cleaning, apply vegetable oil to
rack guides for easier sliding.
Broiler pan and grid l Soap and water
l Steel wool pad
l Dishwasher
l Wash, rinse and dry.
l Solution of l/2 cup ammonia to l Soak for 20 minutes, then scrub
1 gallon water with plastic scrubbing pad.
l Mild abrasive cleanser or l DO NOT clean the pan and grid
commercial oven cleaner in the self-cleaning cycle.
