INSTALLATION

Il est possible de monter le séquenceur dans n’importe quelle position et n’importe quel endroit pourvu que la température ne dépasse pas la température ambiante spécifiée par U.L.

Il faut l’installer à un endroit correspondant aux recom- mandations de l’équipement initial.

Branchement

Tous les branchements doivent être conformes aux codes et règlements

électriques locaux et nationaux.

Les identifications des bornes sont équivalentes à celles de la majorité des fabricants. Il faut faire le branchement en suivant les recommandations du constructeur de l’équipement d’origine.

DÉFINITIONS

CONTACTS PRINCIPAUX : Les bornes identifiées par “M”, contacts de charge. Les contacts M1-M2 sont toujours les premiers jeux de contacts à se fermer et les derniers à s’ouvrir. Les contacts M3-M4 sont toujours les seconds jeux de contacts à s’ouvrir et les avant-der- niers à se fermer. Les contacts M5-M6 sont toujours les derniers à se fermer et les premiers à s’ouvrir.

CONTACTS AUXILIAIRES : Les bornes identifiées par “A”. Pendant le cycle de MARCHE, ces contacts ferment le circuit de commande pour les séquenceurs ultérieurs, quand plusieurs sont installés. Ces contacts se ferment

après les contacts principaux et s’ouvrent avant tout autre contact principal.

ASSERVISSEMENT DU VENTILATEUR : Quand plu- sieurs séquenceurs sont utilisés, U.L. exige qu’il y ait un circuit d’asservissement du ventilateur qui garantit que le ventilateur reste en marche jusqu’à ce que tous les éléments de chauffage soient hors tension. Le circuit d’asservissement du ventilateur doit être branché sur le premier jeu de contacts à se fermer et est normalement identifié “M1-M2”.
