1CAUTION: Always unplug appliance before cleaning. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or unit in water or liquid. Wash cover with water and mild detergent. The cover

is not dishwasher-safe. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Never immerse grinder base in water or other liquid. Do not pour water into grinder bowl.

2Wipe the stainless steel bowl, blades and cover with a lint-free cloth. Use extreme caution; blades are sharp.

3To remove residue or aromas left behind by nuts, grind one tablespoon of baking soda in the bowl then wipe thoroughly.

4Use built-in cord wrap on the underside of the unit to store the cord. Turn the knob clockwise to wind cord into unit. See Figure 1.
