Upgrades

RAM Upgrade

Adding RAM SIMMs to the standard RAM in your Phaser 440 increases the printer’s power and perfor- mance. With one 16-Mbyte upgrade (total of 32 Mbytes) you can print on Letter Extra-size paper and use a 4-Color Transfer Roll. With two 16- Mbytes upgrades (total of 48 Mbytes) the printer processes complex images almost twice as fast, plus handles more downloadable fonts. With three 16-Mbyte RAM SIMMs added, the printer is able to handle the most demanding applications and images.
