Chapter 4: Paper Loading and Orientation ❖4-7
Using Trays 1, 2, and
3 (if installed)
Trays 1 and 2 in the printer, and Tray 3 in the optional
2,500 Sheet Feeder, hold up to 500 sheets of 20 lb.
(80 g/m2) paper each. Refer to the section “Selecting
Paper” (page 4-2) for acceptable paper sizes and weights.
1Pull out the tray (Tray 1 is shown above)
until it stops. 2Prepare a stack of paper, making sure the
tops of the sheets are aligned.
3Gently lift up the width guide and slide it
all the way until it stops.
If you are replacing paper of the same
size, skip to Step 5 on page4-8.
4Press down the gray handle and slide the
side guide all the way until it stops.
