You can change the brightness of the display (or turn off the illumination) by pressing the DIMMER button.

Connect the headphones to the PHONES jack and adjust the

 

volume by using the OUTPUT LEVEL button. At that time,

 

note that this adjustment will also vary the signal level output to

– OUTPUT LEVEL +

CDX-890 only

* If the FIXED (LINE OUT) terminals on the rear of this unit are connected to the amplifier etc., the use of the OUTPUT LEVEL button will not vary the signal level output to the amplifier.
