(to enjoy high quality pictures)

To make component video connection instead of video connection using the supplied video pin cable, connect COMPONENT (Y, PB, PR) jacks of the DVD-S30 and component video input jacks of the TV using a commercially available component video cable.

To make SCART connection (U.K model only) instead of video connection using the supplied video pin cable, connect SCART jack of the DVD-S30 and SCART input jack of the TV using a commercially available SCART cable.

Other audio connection

To make analog audio connection instead of digital connection using the optical cable, connect AUDIO OUT (L, R) jacks of the DVD-S30 and audio input jacks of the AV amplifier using a commercially available audio pin cable.

y

COMPONENT jacks can output a progressive scan signal. To enjoy high quality DVD video with progressive scan mode, set “PROGRESSIVE” in the Setup menu to “ON” (page 23).
