Turn this unit on or set it to the standby mode.

When the unit is in the standby mode, the unit consumes a small amount of power.

2Front panel display

Displays playback information or settings.

3 (Eject)

Ejects a disc in the unit.

Note

Do not push the ejected disc when reloading it. To reload the ejected disc, press or h, or remove the disc from the disc loading slot fully, then insert it to the disc loading slot once again.

4s (Stop)

Stops disc playback. (page 11)

5Remote control sensor

Receives signals from the remote control.

6Disc loading slot

Insert a disc to be played.

Note

Place the disc with the data side facing down. If the DVD player is placed vertically, place the disc with the data side facing left.

Pauses disc playback. (page 11)

Starts disc playback. (page 11)
