To skip through tracks or an entire disc forward or backward (for Video CDs only)

Pressing the TIME INDEX or button once allows you to skip through the track forward or backward respectively by the time shown on the display.

Every time you press a button repeatedly, the skipping time changes and is shown on the display. Releasing the button makes the Video CD player skip forward or backward by the displayed time. The skip operation varies as follows:

While you are playing back a disc, you can skip forward or backward through the entire disc.

While you are playing back a Video CD, version 2.0 in the Playback Control mode, you can skip forward or backward through the selected track.
