Always make sure that the projector is in standby mode before disconnecting the power cord.

The indicator will continue to light for a short period after the power cord is disconnected, and then it will turn off.

Do not disconnect the power cord while the projector is projecting or while cool-down is in progress. If the power cord is disconnected at times such as when projection is in progress, wait for the lamp to cool down (normally about one hour is required) before turning the power back on again.
