Adjusting speaker levels during
playback
You can adjust the output level of each speaker while
listening to a music source.
This operation will override the level adjustment made in “SP
LEVEL” (see page46).
1Press 4AMP and then press 6LEVEL
repeatedly to select the speaker you want to
adjust.
y
Once you press 6LEVEL on the remote control, you can
also select the speaker by pressing 7k / n.
2Press 7l / h on the remote control to
adjust the speaker output level.
The control range is from –10 dB to +10 dB.
y
You can press DA/B/C/D/E to select a speaker and then
EPRESET/TUNING l / h to adjust the speaker output level.
Displaying the signal information
You can display the format, sampling frequency, channel,
bit rate and flag data of the current input signal.
1Press 4AMP and then press HMENU on
the remote control.
“BASIC SETUP” appears in the front panel display.

2Press 7k / n repeatedly to select “SIGNAL
INFO” and then press 7ENTER.
3Press 7k / n to switch the displayed
information.
The following information about the input source
appears in the front panel display.
4Press HMENU to exit.

Display Description
Format Signal format.
Sampling
frequency
The number of samples per second taken
from a continuous signal to make a discrete
signal.
Channel The number of source channels in the input
signal (front/surround/LFE).
Bit rate The number of bits passing a given point
per second.
Flag data Flag data encoded in DTS, Dolby Digital,
or PCM signals that cue this unit to
automatically switch decoders.
